Research has entered the Doldrums and no progress has been made since late August. We have still had no word from George although we know he has been contacted. The Daily Mail has once again decided not to run the story but no reasons have been given and we wonder why they have wasted so much time, money and effort on photoshoots and makeovers for no purpose. Well, that's the pain bit over, and on the other side of the coin, Irene, her husband Johnny, and various other members of her immediate family have been up here to see us (twice) and we have been down to Chesterfield to see them. It's amazing that we all get on so well together. Doreen and I are really looking forward to a trip to Worcester later this month, to meet Ronnie and Jan and their families again. In spite of everything, we still hope that one day, George will get in touch.
